I've been playing the game for the last couple days without much issue, but today it started getting locked up on the black screen after the Unreal Engine intro and not responding. The only fix I've been able to find is backing up and clearing out the entire SaveGames file and starting fresh, which is obviously not ideal.
I tested running the game on a fresh install and trying each file in the backed-up SaveGames folder one-by-one, and every one does fine EXCEPT the backed-up SaveGameSlots.sav file, which *seems* to trigger the aforementioned lock-up, even when I put it into a fresh install. Which of course means all of my old saves can be present when running the game, but they wont load. So close and yet so far. :,(
Does anyone have any suggestions?
